MC Quality was established in 2015 by Mick Cameron who holds formal qualifications as an International Welding Technologist, Welding Supervisor and Welding Inspector. MC Quality has continually expanded our footprint and services and now has two locations on the east coast of Australia, one in Newcastle NSW and another in Mackay QLD that provide key services to local regions but also access across both states to support our clients.
It all started in 2015 when I founded MC Quality with a simple goal: to provide quality control solutions for industries such as mining, rail, manufacturing, and construction. Having spent many years working as a Boilermaker, I knew first-hand the importance of reliable and effective quality control in these industries. I wanted to build a company that could deliver these solutions to clients across Australia and thus began my journey.
In the early days, it was just me and a small team of dedicated professionals. We worked tirelessly to establish ourselves as a trusted partner in the industry, and our focus on quality control quickly set us apart from the competition. Our clients were impressed by the level of service we provided, and our reputation grew.

Our Growth
As we continued to grow, I recognised the need to upskill and expand my expertise in quality control. I became a welding supervisor and later a welding technologist. I also completed an advanced diploma in business management to help me develop my skills as a business leader and entrepreneur. These efforts have paid off, and today MC Quality employs 32 people across 3 states.
Our team of experts is well-versed in the latest industry trends and standards, and we take pride in our ability to deliver reliable and effective quality control solutions to our clients. As the founder of MC Quality, I have always been committed to investing in the ongoing training and development of our team members. I believe that by empowering our team members to grow and develop within the company, we can provide even better solutions to our clients.
Despite our success, we know that there is always room for improvement. That is why we are on a journey to become a world-class quality organisation.
